Queens Park 1 v 1 Stirling Albion (53 images)
Stirling played their final game of the season's first quarter as they made the short trip to Glasgow to take on Queen's Park at the national stadium. Allan Moore's men went into the match on an unbeaten run of five games but with the last two being draws the Albion gaffer would have been keen to get back to winning ways. Stirling have looked to lack a killer touch in recent games and if the team were to come back from Glasgow with a win they would need to be much more clinical. A bright start from the visitors saw Stirling take the lead when Ian Harty guided the ball past David Crawford. It was all Albion in the opening half but a combination of wasteful play and the woodwork kept the home side in the match. The Beanos were made to pay for a lethargic second period when Ian Watt squeezed a header past Myles Hogarth to level the scores. Most definitely a case of two points dropped as Stirling left Hampden knowing that this was a match they could and should have won.
